  € 7,700, dedicated to the memory of “Achille D. Taverna” to be awarded to PhD theses or unpublished research papers.

• Rome, 23 November 2011 - PRESENTATION OF THE ALCIDE DE GASPERI COMMEMORATIVE COIN

  The Alcide De Gasperi Foundation and the Istituto Poligrafico e Zecca dello Stato presented the commemoration coin for the 130th anniversary of the birth of Alcide De Gasperi with a ceremony which was held on Thursday 23 November at the Senate of the Republic. The President of the Senate Renato Schifani and the new President of the Foundation Franco Frattini attended the event.

• Rome, 11 November 2011- THE NEW PRESIDENT OF THE FOUNDATION, Mr. FRANCO FRATTINI, AT THE FIRST CONFERENCE ON THE UNIFICATION OF ITALY

  Minister Franco Frattini attended as new President of the Alcide De Gasperi  Foundation the conference The first fifty years of the Regno d'Italia (1861-1911) which was held on Thursday 10 November at the Senate of the Republic.
